Jim Bishop, 64, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Cape Girardeau and former owner of the Chevrolet dealership here, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1993, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Scranton, Ark. He moved to Florida in 1984 from Cape Girardeau. He was a retired Chevrolet and AMC dealer, member of First Baptist Church in Ocala, the Masonic Lodge and Shrine Club.

Survivors include his wife, Dottie; two daughters, Patricia Dupplessie of Denham Springs, La., Pamela Shelley of Covington, Tenn.; his mother, Cora Bishop of Delta, Colo.; two brothers, Richard Bishop of Jasper, Texas, William Bishop of Delta, Colo., and five grandsons.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today at Hiers Funeral Home in Ocala, with the Rev. Edward Johnson officiating. A graveside service will be held Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery near Hamburg, Ark., with Jones Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
