SIKESTON -- James Edward Aduddell, 58, of Sikeston, died Friday, June 11, 1993, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Jan. 13, 1935, at Cairo, Ill., son of Ray and Vivian Vaughn Aduddell.

He married Marcella Miles, May 22, 1955. She died Oct. 6, 1977.

He was then married to Phyllis LaPlant, July 27, 1979, at Sikeston.

Aduddell was a claims adjuster.

He served in the Missouri National Guard for 21 years, where he was a staff sargent. He was a member of the Sikeston Elks Lodge and the Southeast Missouri Claims Association.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Scott Aduddell of Sikeston, a step-son, Peter Malone of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; two daughters, Debra Evans of Sikeston, Teresa Walls of Sikeston; a step-daughter, Melanie Fite of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Fred Aduddell of Herrin, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Rev. Tom Geers officiating.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
