JIGGS CODY

MORLEY -- Jiggs Cody, 63, of Morley died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995, at Sikeston Health Care.

He was born Sept. 17, 1932, at Casa, Ark., son of Zannie and Myrtle L. Moore Cody.

He was retired from General Motors in St. Louis, where he worked as a forklift operator.

He was of the Baptist denomination. He was in the Naval Reserve for six years. He was a member of Eagles Aerie Club 415 of Advance.

He and Juarl Neldon were married March 3, 1956.

Survivors include his wife of Morley; a daughter, Sherry Clawson of O'Fallon; two brothers, William and Sammy Cody, both of St. Louis; three sisters, Ellen Kiefer and Vellen Patterson, both of Oran, and Jeanette Hampton of Florissant; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Oran.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.

The Rev. Bill Bradley will officiate, with burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
