Jewell W. Bryant, 67, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 13, 1927, in Zalma, son of Frank and Genevieve Rhyne Bryant. He married Lila Jackson April 14, 1948, in Advance.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Brenda Kasten of Cape Girardeau, Deborah Weaver of Kenner, La., Vicki Hannaford of Jefferson City; his father of Zalma, and three grandchildren.
Bryant moved to Cape Girardeau from Zalma in 1970. He was a finish carpenter, retiring five years ago. He worked for J.W. Gerhardt Construction, Drury Company, and Walter Wright. He helped in the construction of a number of buildings in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
