SIKESTON, Mo. -- Jewel Ozro Taylor, 99, of Sikeston died Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born May 13, 1916, in Chaffee, Missouri, to the late Frank and Milvrey Collins Little, she was employed for 15 years by the National Lock Co. in Sikeston and was a homemaker.
She was of the Baptist belief.
On Nov. 27, 1936, in New Madrid, Missouri, she married Ernest Lee Taylor, who preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1983.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Patty Taylor of Cape Girardeau and Rick and Leslie Taylor of Sikeston; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Melvin Wayne Taylor; two brothers; and three sisters.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, under the direction of Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Brother Kelley Grubbs, pastor of the Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Jeff McGuirk, Justin Taylor, Cory Taylor, Sean Taylor, Alex Hicks and Aaron Hicks.
