Jewel Jordan, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at her home.
She was born Feb. 8, 1933, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Jimmy and MayZella Macklin Lyles. She and Charles Grigsby were married in 1951 in Chicago. She later married Jasper Jordan in 1961.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Phyllis Grigsby of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Clifford Jordan of Cape Girardeau, Charles Grigsby of Chicago; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at New Bethel Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral and burial will be in Chicago.
Sparks Funeral Home at Charleston, Mo., is in charge of local arrangements.
