EAST PRAIRIE -- Jessie Ray Nimmo, 55, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1994, at her home. She was born Feb. 4, 1939, at Dorena, daughter of Junnie and Altie Bentley Barker. She and Bob Nimmo were married Oct. 2, 1965. He died May 26, 1984...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Jessie Ray Nimmo, 55, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Sept. 28, 1994, at her home.

She was born Feb. 4, 1939, at Dorena, daughter of Junnie and Altie Bentley Barker. She and Bob Nimmo were married Oct. 2, 1965. He died May 26, 1984.

Nimmo was a cook with Archer-Daniels-Midland Barge Co.

Survivors include two sons, Tony High of Warrenton, Daryn Nimmo of Columbia; a stepdaughter, Pam Young of Benton; a brother, Jackie Barker of Jackson; two half sisters, Lola Hightower of Carthage, Texas, Tootie Mitchell of Livingston, Texas; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 4 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Aubrey Wilson officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
