Jessie Quade

Jessie Elizabeth Quade, 94, of Jackson passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

Born in Scopus, Missouri, on July 26, 1920, she was the daughter of William D. and Nellie Conder Brown. On Aug. 25, 1950, she married Linus W. "Mox" Quade. He preceded her in death Oct. 1, 2005.

She was retired from International Shoe Co. and was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Linda Quade of Burfordville; one grandson, Scott Quade of Boston; and two sisters, Idell Dockins of Jackson and Essie Abernathy of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
