SIKESTON -- Jessie Mae Williamson, 69, of Sikeston, died Monday, March 6, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born July 14, 1925, in Grenada, Miss., daughter of John Eskar Robinson and Cary DeJornett Robinson. She and James Williamson Sr. were married Jan. 31, 1942.
Williamson was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church, its Missionary Society and Senior Choir.
Survivors include five sons, Ernest Carradine of Pemberton, N.J., James "J.J." Williamson of Cape Girardeau, David and Billy Williamson of Sikeston, Eric Williamson of St. Louis; five daughters, Mary White and Lovie Byars of Chicago, Gladies Webb, Linda Williamson and Brenda Jackson of Sikeston; a sister, Cary Williamson of Grenada; 35 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at West End Church, with the Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
