GIPSY -- Jessie Mae Irvin, 86, Gipsy Route 4, died Sunday, April 12, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 14, 1911, in Falls of Rough, Ky., daughter of James and Cora Cummings Morgan. She and Benjamin F. Irvin were married in February 1948 in Morganfield, Ky.
Irvin had worked at a GE plant, and was a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church at Wappapello.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Linda Harris of Stella; a sister, Lorene Taylor of Decatur, Ill.; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lloyd Green officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at Zalma.
