Jessie Jo Harvey Bryan, 86, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at her home.
She was born April 3, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, to Joseph W. and Ruby Noland Harvey. She and William M. Bryan were married Nov. 6, 1944, in Macon, Georgia. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Jessie graduated from Central High School. She worked with her husband and both owned and operated radio stations KGMO AM-FM, KCOB in Newton, Iowa, WDEH in Sweetwater, Tennessee, and KTGR in Columbia, Missouri. She also worked and retired from RGIS.
She had an aviation license for small planes. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a former PEO chapter member and member of Elks Lodge and Eagles Aerie.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ann B. and Robert G. Fisher of Cape Girardeau; a sister and brother-in-law, Joel A. and Robert D. Killian of Dahlonega, Georgia; four grandchildren, Michael Bryan Raymond, Joel Nicole Bryan, Allen Robert Bryan and Michelle Rose Bryan; and three great-grandchildren in Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Scott William Bryan.
There will be no public service.
She will be inurned in the family mausoleum at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
