JONESBORO, Ill. -- Jessie Elnora Allen, 90, of Jonesboro died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at the Friendship Care Nursing Home in Herrin, Ill. She was born June 10, 1910, in Granite City, Ill., daughter of Samuel and Mattie Morgan Allen. She was a longtime resident of Jonesboro and was self-employed in food service. JONESBORO, Ill. -- Jessie Elnora Allen, 90, of Jonesboro died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at the Friendship Care Nursing Home in Herrin, Ill.

She was born June 10, 1910, in Granite City, Ill., daughter of Samuel and Mattie Morgan Allen. She was a longtime resident of Jonesboro and was self-employed in food service. She was a member of the Land Mark Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hileman and Parr Funeral Services in Jonesboro. Friends may call from noon until the funeral hour Monday at the funeral home.
