Jessica Lynn Vandeusen, 39, of Jackson passed away at 5:13 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born Aug. 9, 1984, at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Jessica, Jessie, Jess — everyone had their own name for her, and she lived her life to the fullest. She was the most kind-hearted soul who devoted her entire life to helping others while being the most amazing mother to Connor and Jackson.

Jessie lived to help anyone who needed it. She followed that desire and became a nurse, most recently serving as the assistant director of nursing with her work family at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

More than anything, Jessie lived for her boys and would light up and beam with pride every time she spoke of them: Connor, her oldest, accepted at Mizzou, and Jackson, her superstar baseball player.
