Jessica Summary

Jessica Ann Summary, 25, of St. Louis died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at her home.

She was born Feb. 29, 1984, in Carbondale, Ill., the daughter of Larry and Rebecca Moeller Summary.

She was a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School in 2002, a graduate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a bachelor of science in media studies. She was also enrolled in the graduate school program at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. Jessica had a strong love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her dog Misa. She enjoyed music and was a DJ in the St. Louis area.

Jessica lived in St. Louis and worked at Guitar Center in Fairview Heights, Ill. Jessica was also a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her parents, Larry and Rebecca; her brother, Nicholas Summary of St. Louis; and also several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. The rosary will be said at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Thomas Kiefer officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Cathedral or the Humane Society.
