Jesse Pender, 59, of Brazeau, Missouri, died Oct. 31, 2017, at his residence.

He was born Oct. 27, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, son of Ralph Pender and Ruth (Worley) Joyce of Cape Girardeau and stepfather, Bill Joyce of Cape Girardeau. He married Jackie (Fitch) Pender on Oct 4, 1997. She survives in Brazeau.

Jesse was owner of a landscaping company. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Brazeau Historical Society. He was a member of the Missouri National Guard.

Other survivors include two sisters, Kathy (Les) Moll of St. Mary, Missouri and Charlotte McClard of Cape Girardeau; four stepbrothers, Phil (Gwen), Michael, Larry and Tom Joyce, all of Marshfield, Missouri; one stepsister, Linda (Tim) Lott of Marshfield; two nieces, Carrie (Andy) Palmer of Cape Girardeau and Rheanna (Darrel) Wolk of St. Mary; two nephews, Cody McClard of Utah and Jeremiah (Tia) Moll of St. Mary; four brothers-in-law, Randy (Carol) Fitch of Peru, Illinois, Ken (Joyce) Fitch of Brandon, Florida, Chuck Fitch of Greenville, Kentucky, and J.B. McClard of Scott City; two sisters-in-law, Bette Ruester and Judy Gilbert, both of Cape Girardeau; five great nieces and five great nephews. Also survived by several beloved fur babies.

Funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Brazeau Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bill Joyce and the Rev. J.T. Thomason co-officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. Burial in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to family use.
