JESSE MOORE

JOPLIN -- Funeral for Jesse F. Moore was held Saturday at Mason Woodard Funeral Home in Joplin.

Moore, 83, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998, at his home.

He was born Aug. 25, 1914, the son of Rufus and Flora Moore.

While in Cape Girardeau, he was employed by Lemings Saw Mill.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Moore, of Joplin; a son, Fred Moore, and several adopted children; a sister, Jeanette Leimer of Jackson; and a brother, Roy Moore of Inkster, Mich.

He was preceded in death by six brothers.
