BLODGETT -- Jesse M. Lambert, 87, of Blodgett, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born May 3, 1907, in Red Bay, Ala., son of Mac and Cora Penley Lambert. He and Nellie A. Boston were married Feb. 5, 1932, in New Madrid.
Lambert owned Lambert Brothers Termite Service in Blodgett, and was a member of Blodgett Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jesse "Buddy" Lambert of Columbia, Ill., Norman Lambert of Sikeston, Steve Lambert of Jefferson City; two daughters, Nancy Childers of Fruitland, Pam Scherer of Jefferson City; two brothers, Jim and Quinton Lambert of Sikeston; 23 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at the chapel at 2 p.m. Friday, with Russell Rice officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
