Jesse Reginald "Reg" Dudley, 64, of Cub Run, Ky., died Friday, March 17, 2006, at his home.
He was born Oct. 9, 1941, at Wittenberg, Mo., son of the late Jesse Forrest and Florence Mary Skelton Dudley. He was raised in Chaffee, Mo.
Reg served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He owned and operated Reg's Two-Way Radio in the Dexter and Poplar Bluff, Mo., areas in the 1970s. In 1982 he relocated to central Kentucky where he owned and operated Oscarware Inc. There he designed and manufactured many products that are distributed at major retail chains across the United States.
He was united in marriage to Karen Williams of Chaffee in 1959. From this union four children were born, Tammy Clark (Roger) of Dexter, Kevin Dudley of Radcliff, Ky., Jill Medina (Victor) of Poplar Bluff, and an infant son, Keith Robert, who preceded him in death.
Reg later married Debra Runyon of Pinson Fork, Ky. They had a daughter, Kelly Dudley of Lexington, Ky., and he also had a stepson, Jeffry Helms Dudley of Nicholasville, Ky. He leaves behind a brother, John Dudley of Jackson; and six grandchildren, Ashley, Lucas, Kyla, Coty, Cameron and Clayton.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Paul and Bob Dudley, and a sister, Ruth Bess.
A memorial service was held March 22 at Sego Funeral Home in Munfordville, Ky.
