Jerry Lynn White, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Monticello House in Jackson.
He was born July 29, 1940, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to Montie and Alta Davis White. He and Nancy Williams were married Oct. 11, 1958, at Bloomfield, Missouri.
Jerry was a member and deacon of the Church of Christ in Cape Girardeau. He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and had worked for UPS for 34 years.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy White; a son, Chris (Jacqueline) White; a daughter, Pam White, all of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Kenneth White of St. Louis, Charles White of Advance, Missouri, and Ronnie White of Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jocelyn White and Liam White of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Bill Myer officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
