STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Jerry L. Vaughn, 54, of Ste. Genevieve died Thursday, April 4, 2002, in an industrial accident at the Mississippi Lime Company in Ste. Genevieve. STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Jerry L. Vaughn, 54, of Ste. Genevieve died Thursday, April 4, 2002, in an industrial accident at the Mississippi Lime Company in Ste. Genevieve.

He was born April 26, 1947, in Womack, Mo., son of Eugene and Rosemary Wilkerson Vaughn. He and Wanda McClure were married July 23, 1966.

He worked in maintenance at the Mississippi Lime Company for 31 years. He was an Air Force veteran, serving from 1966 to 1970. He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church in River Aux Vases, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Ste. Genevieve.; three sons, Timothy Vaughn of Park Hills, Mo., and David and Donald Vaughn, both of Ste. Genevieve; a daughter, Laura Lietz of Chesapeake, Va.; four brothers, Larry Vaughn and Terry Vaughn, both of Ste. Genevieve, and Eugene Vaughn Jr. and George Vaughn, both of Ste. Genevieve County; three sisters, Joyce Rayoum of Ste. Genevieve, Carolyn Hellon of Wichita, Kan., and Shirley Ann Snider of Ste. Genevieve County.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 10:50 a.m. Monday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. today.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville with graveside military honors by American Legion Post 133.
