ORAN, Mo. -- Jerry Lynn Tindall, 69, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, died Saturday, July 25, 2015.

He was born and raised in Oran, Missouri. He graduated from Oran High School and Southeast Missouri State University.

Jerry worked in the social service field most of his life, serving people with disabilities. He was a good husband, father and papa, and a good friend to many.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home; two daughters, Maria Tindall and Brandi of Boise, Idaho, and Monica Justice of Columbus, Ohio; six stepchildren, Amy Kennedy of Tampa, Florida, Jeremy Kennedy and Jessica, Joshua Kennedy and Tomiko, Jason Kennedy and Courtney, Amber Kriegel and Pete, and Amanda Kennedy, all of the Kansas City, Missouri, area; 16 grandchildren; and two brothers, Arburn "Booney" Tindall and Ruby Rucker Tindall.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norvell Anderson Tindall and Nancy Byrtle Tindall; and a brother, Samuel Wilson Tindall.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Hidden Valley Funeral Home in Kearney, Missouri.
