CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Graveside service for Jerry Thomas Buck of Cape Girardeau will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Johnny Thomas will officiate.
Mr. Buck died Dec. 19 in East St. Louis, Ill. at St. Mary's Hospital. He was 22.
He was born Aug. 29, 1968 in Brownsville, Tenn., the son of George and Nancy Bond Buck.
He had been a carpenter's helper in St. Louis and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his father, George Buck of Ripley, Tenn., four brothers, Rick Bond and Tony Buck, both of St. Louis, Larry Bond, address unknown, and Pat Buck of Boonville; an aunt and uncle who reared him, William and Mintry Newbern of Cape Girardeau; and a great aunt, Zettie Hampton, also of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Bond, in June 1976.
Friends may call between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
