Jerry Tarver

Jerry Marshell Tarver, 24, of Dexter, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

He was born Jan. 26, 1987, in Sikeston, Mo., to William M. Watkins and Carla Marie Hayes Tarver.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Carla Tarver of Scott City; father, William Watkins of Sikeston; a daughter, Emmarie Grace Watkins of Dexter; and two brothers, Michael Tarver of Sikeston and Timmy Tarver of Metropolis, Ill.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service Thursday at Scott City First Family and Youth Worship Center.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Larry Rouse officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
