CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Jerry Pirtle Sr., 75, son of the late Loomis and Emma Edwards Pirtle, was born March 26, 1946, in Painton, Missouri, and departed this life Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at his home in Chaffee. CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Jerry Pirtle Sr., 75, son of the late Loomis and Emma Edwards Pirtle, was born March 26, 1946, in Painton, Missouri, and departed this life Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at his home in Chaffee.

On May 18, 1966, he was united in marriage to Shirley Faye Daniels in Perkins, Missouri. She survives of the home in Chaffee.

He was former owner and operator of Jerry's Auto & Truck Repair, along with Jerry Pirtle Trucking. Jerry was a member of the Randles Baptist Church.

Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Mark Patrick (Tina) Pirtle of Naylor, Missouri; daughter, Glenda Faye (Danny) Thomas of Randles; two sisters, Jeanette Eftink of Chaffee and Rose Wolfert of Perkins; seven grandchildren, Joshua Pirtle, Nathan Parker, Matthew Pirtle, Isaiah Thomas and Danielle Thomas, Chase Buckner and Justin Buckner; and a great-grandchild, Wyatt Buckner.

Besides his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Pirtle Jr.; a baby brother Pirtle, and by two sisters, Ruth Ann Pirtle and Brenda Pirtle.

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday.

The funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at the Randles First Baptist Church with the Rev. Leeman Sherrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Williams Cemetery in Perkins.

The family requests that masks be worn to services and, if you are sick, PLEASE STAY HOME!!
