PATTON, Mo. -- Jerry Mungle, 75, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 20, 1942, in Rector, Arkansas, son of Everett Jefferson and Ruby Leona Sanders Mungle. He and Anna Mae Aslinger were united in marriage Aug. 4, 1962.
Jerry enjoyed being an avid gardener, and he worked for Davidson, Scott and Wilson Construction and Penzel Construction as a supervisor, where he retired April 30, 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Anna of the home; mother Leona Mungle of Marble Hill, Missouri; son Brett Mungle of Marble Hill; brothers John (Janet) Mungle of Marquand, Missouri, Larry (Linda) Mungle of Fredericktown, Missouri, Mark (Vickie) Mungle of Jackson, Randy (Millie) Mungle of Sullivan, Missouri, and Reggie (Tonya) Mungle of Marble Hill; sisters Karen (Allan) Mills of Lesterville, Missouri, Joyce Crites of Jackson and Katherine Burris of Eldon, Missouri.
Proceeding him in death were his father, Everett Jefferson Mungle; brother, Kenneth Mungle; and an infant sister, Dorothy Jane Mungle.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Allen Smith officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
