SIKESTON -- Jerry Richard Mitchell, 63, of Sikeston died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at his home. He was born Jan. 11, 1934, at Illmo, son of Liston and Iva Hutchason Mitchell. Mitchell served more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. SIKESTON -- Jerry Richard Mitchell, 63, of Sikeston died Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at his home.

He was born Jan. 11, 1934, at Illmo, son of Liston and Iva Hutchason Mitchell.

Mitchell served more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include four brothers, Jack Mitchell of Sikeston, Liston Mitchell of Chaffee, James Mitchell of San Jose, Calif., Joe Mitchell of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Betty Yant of Sikeston, and Janet Latham of St. Louis.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Garden of Memories Cemetery, with the Rev. Amos Johnson officiating.
