CHARLESTON -- Jerry Lynn Canter Jr., 24, of Charleston died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. CHARLESTON -- Jerry Lynn Canter Jr., 24, of Charleston died Friday, Nov. 7, 1997, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Oct. 16, 1973, at Charleston, son of Judith Ann Lane and Jerry Lynn Canter Sr.
He lived in Charleston his entire life. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and had attended the New Dawn School at Sikeston.

Survivors include his father of Diehlstadt; his mother of Charleston; and his maternal grandmother, Robbie Lee Fisher of Charleston.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and by his maternal grandfather and his paternal grandparents.
Friends may call from 5-8 tonight at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Summers will officiate, with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
