Jerry Lee Staley, 47, 2731 Chrysler, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Feb. 12, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of George and Mary Margaret Ferrell Staley. He and Mar Nell Laird were married Aug. 28, 1985.
Staley was a graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University.
He had worked at Cape Central Airways and Erlbacher Materials Inc. He was a member of the National Guard 135th Engineer Group from 1983 until ill health forced his retirement in 1988.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kristy Staley of Cape Girardeau; his mother of Cape Girardeau, and a brother, Tom Staley of Benton, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Grant Gillard and John Owen officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
