BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Funeral for Jerry Dean Holland of Bloomfield will be held at 10 a.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery. Holland, 65, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, in Cape Girardeau. He was born Feb. 7, 1935, at Steele, Mo., son of Dixie and Dicie Reeves Holland. He and Rita Stephens were married Dec. 4, 1955. BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Funeral for Jerry Dean Holland of Bloomfield will be held at 10 a.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Holland, 65, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 7, 1935, at Steele, Mo., son of Dixie and Dicie Reeves Holland. He and Rita Stephens were married Dec. 4, 1955. She died March 8, 1981. He later married Sharon Bates.

Holland was a farmer.

Survivors include a son, Brett Holland of Dexter, Mo.; a daughter, Angie DeFoor of Quinton, Ala.; his mother of Dexter; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a son.
