MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Jerry Filer, 80, of Marble Hill entered into rest Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 23, 1937, in Marble Hill, son of Lester Floyd "Red" and Jewell Beasley Filer. He and Donna Beyer were united in marriage Feb. 7, 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; sons, Clinton, Michael (Lisa) and Shawn; daughters, Jerri Lyn, Morgan (Terry), Barbie (Dave) and Dawn; 23 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby; and brother Bradley.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Dr. John Englehart officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
