BERNIE -- Jerry Dale Dockins, 50, of Dexter died Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998, at his home.
He was born July 15, 1968, in Malden, son of the late James and Rose Jewell Laxton Dockins. On Sept. 19, 1970, he married Beverly James at Bernie.
He had worked as a truck driver for Stites Concrete Co. in Dexter until ill health forced his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, James Dockins of Temecula, Calif; a daughter, Iris Dockins of Dexter; a brother, Bobby Dockins of Malden; a stepbrother; two stepsisters; and a granddaughter.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie. Funeral will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday, with interment in Bernie Cemetery.
