MARBLE HILL -- Jerry D. Huckstep, 64, of Marble Hill died Sunday, March 14, 1999, at his home.
He was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, son of Roscoe and Georgia Davis Huckstep.
He married Fay Yount on Jan 12, 1957, in Marble Hill.
He was a member of Harmony Congregational Methodist Church and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include, his wife; three sons, Randy Huckstep of Virginia Beach, Va., David Huckstep of Jackson and Rodney Huckstep of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Dianna Hanners of Marble Hill and Deborah Abernathy of O'Fallon, Mo.; four brothers, Joe Huckstep and Jack Huckstep, both of Scott City, John Huckstep of Cape Girardeau and Jerold Huckstep of New Hamburg; five sisters, Judy Propst and Joan Foeste, both of Cape Girardeau, Jane Garcia of Joliet, Ill., Janet Jones and Margaret Jean Wissmann, both of Scott City; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Harmony Congregational Methodist Church near Marble Hill.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Revs. Elijah Allen, Jack Leslie and Spence Steedley officiating.
Burial will be in the Old Union Cemetery near Bessville.
