MORLEY, Mo. -- Jerry Coffee, 79, of Morley died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.
He was born Sept. 4, 1921, at Marston, Mo., son of John and Mary Edna McCarey Coffee. He and Betty June Ford were married March 4, 1944. She died May 16, 1995.
Coffee was a retired farmer and had worked at Silverthorne Farm in Sikeston, Mo. He was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include six sons, Jerry and Ricky Coffee of Advance, Mo., Danny Coffee of Murfreesboro, Tenn., John Coffee of Benton, Mo., Tommy Coffee of Antioch, Tenn., Mike Coffee of Dexter; a sister, Edith Middleton of Advance; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three brothers, and four sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo., after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of God in Morley. The Rev. Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
