PERKINS, Mo. -- Jeraldine "Jerrie" Berry, 85, of Perkins passed away Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born April 14, 1934, in Perkins, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn Lenon Irwin.
Jerrie was a dedicated employee of the Bank of Advance for more than 50 years, where she had been vice president. She was also a member of Perkins Baptist Church.
Jerrie and Bobby Berry were united in marriage March 6, 1952, at Bell City, Missouri, and he preceded her in death April 21, 2014.
Survivors include her sister, Kay Burlison of Perkins; niece, Kristi (Tom) Mathis of O'Fallon, Missouri; nephew, Mickey Lynn (Olivia) Burlison of Perkins; niece-in-law, Candyce Burlison of Fredericktown, Missouri; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a nephew, Kelly Burlison.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Missouri.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Gill officiating. Burial will follow at Perkins Cemetery in Perkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family urges donations to Perkins Cemetery.
