NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Our handsome loving dad, son and brother, Jerime Alan Atchley, 37, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, with his family surrounding him at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville.
Jerime was born July 16, 1978, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Freda and Al Atchley.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his twin sons, Austin and Peyton Atchley; a daughter, Logan Atchley; a brother, Lee (Karen) Vann; a sister, Emilee (Matt) Godsey; three nieces, Olivia, Emma and Maddie Godsey; his paternal grandparents, Martha and Dave Stanbrough; his grandfather, James Atchley; and his paternal great-grandmother, Louell Maples.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Imogene Oliver and Frank Anderson; and his favorite aunt, Pam Anderson Elliott.
Jerime was a passionate man, who was extremely loving and proud of his family. His three children were his life. He loved to cook, as well as the outdoors, fishing, ATV riding and the beach. But his real love was family gatherings. Jerime had a knack of getting close to people of all ages. He was warm, giving and compassionate.
A funeral service was Tuesday at Hampton Cove Funeral Home in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.
