Jeremy Koenig

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Jeremy R. Koenig, 23, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, from injuries received in an automobile accident Sept. 13 in Perry County.

He was born June 11, 1981, in Perryville, son of Randy L. and Teresa "Terry" Bergman Koenig.

Koenig was a forklift driver at Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his mother; father and stepmother, Randy and Ann Koenig; two sisters, Jennifer Oakley, Angela Horn; three stepbrothers, Chad, Todd and Corey Strattman; a stepsister, Cari Strattman; maternal grandparents, Bill and Lois Bergman, all of Perryville; and paternal grandparents, Herb and Viona Koenig of Uniontown.

He was preceded in death by stepgrandparents.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of service at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Church Cemetery.
