The twins died at birth Saturday, May 10, 1997, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

Survivors include their parents, Tony and Dina Hansil of Anna; a brother, James Russell Hansil of the home; a sister, Cheyanne Hansil of the home; a half brother, James Ryan Hansil; maternal grandparents, Robert and Valerie Fusco Sr. of Anna; paternal grandparents, William J. and Paula Hansil of Anna; maternal great-grandparents, Phillip Fusco of Chicago and Earlene Soderstrom of Indiana; and paternal great-grandparents, Dallas Alsip and Jewel Hansil of Anna.
