Blanche Genevieve "Jenny" Dillingham Angle, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born June 27, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Sherman William and Floy Abernathy Dillingham. She first married Kenneth Drum, who preceded her in death. She later married "Joe" Jessie Angle April 6, 1954, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1998.
Mrs. Angle was a sales clerk at Buckner-Ragsdale and Woolworth's, and also worked at Rigdon's Laundry. She was a member of Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church, its ladies auxiliary and choir, and enjoyed working at church dinners.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Drum of Cape Girardeau, Bill Drum of Litchfield, Ill.; a brother, Galvin Dillingham of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Earl and Jerry Dillingham; a daughter-in-law, Linda Drum; and a sister, Shirley Bishop.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Janet Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
