Jennifer Nan Faries, 66, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 7, 2013, at her home.
She was born Sunday, Dec. 22, 1946, in South Carolina, to Dean and Margaret Parks Conrad.
Jennifer was a 1965 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. She was a teacher at Head Start and was a foster parent.
She is survived by her husband, Von Faries of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Deana (Roy) Heise of Cape Girardeau, Christina (Jim) Vetter of Benton, Mo., Emily Rhodes and Mandy (Shawn) Retherford of Cape Girardeau; a son, Patrick W. Webb of Jackson; 10 grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Heise, Brady and Caleb Vetter, Micah Boyd, Kamdyn Rhodes, Kelby and Bryson Thomas, Cole Retherford and Riley Webb; and a first cousin who was like a sister, Pam Harper of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her father on March 13, 1999, her mother on Nov. 25, 2012, and a daughter, Joanna Webb.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Lorimier Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Jennifer's family c/o Ford and Sons Funeral Home, to help defray funeral expenses.
