JENNIE HAND

BENTON, Mo. -- Jennie A. Hand, 92, of Benton died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at Jackson Manor in Jackson, Mo.

She was born March 24, 1908, in Kelso, Mo., daughter of Louis J. and Martha Kielhofner Westrich. She and John James Hand were married Dec. 2, 1938, at New Hamburg, Mo. He died Aug. 2, 1958.

Hand had been a cook at St. Denis Catholic School. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Enderle of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Martha Robert of Benton; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 6:30.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Denis Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
