Jennie Bell

Jennie Lee Bell, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at her home.

She was born June 22, 1952, in Lilbourn, Missouri, to Frank and Josiephine Jones Jr..

Jennie was a retired employee for the State of Missouri, where she worked at the Sikeston regional office specializing in helping families with special needs children.

She was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Karla Francine Jones (Sean) Moore of Acworth, Georgia, and Jeana LaTonya (Roger) Hines of Florissant, Missouri; four brothers, Billie Wayne Jones, Johnnie Earl (Brenda) Jones, Tyrone Jones and Jeffery Jones; five sisters, Dianne (Stephen) Taylor, Frankie (Oscar) Ross, Gloria (Kevin) Wade, Dosha Jones and Katie (Curtis) Walker; five grandchildren, Jarett Hines, Garrett Hines, Maya Moore, Evan Hines and Peyton Moore.

Jennie was preceded in death by a daughter, Billoma Yolanda Bell; brother, Walter Lee Jones; and her parents.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. June 18 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. June 18 at the church with the Rev. Jessie Dunigan officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
