Jennie Aldredge

Jennie R. Aldredge, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at Ratliff Care Center. She was born Nov. 29, 1916, in Bonner Springs, Kan., daughter of Hugh and Viola Jane Morgan Gallagher. She and John Angus Aldredge were married Sept. 25, 1936. He died March 4, 1994...

Jennie R. Aldredge, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at Ratliff Care Center.

She was born Nov. 29, 1916, in Bonner Springs, Kan., daughter of Hugh and Viola Jane Morgan Gallagher. She and John Angus Aldredge were married Sept. 25, 1936. He died March 4, 1994.

Survivors include four sons, John Aldredge III of Newport News, Va., Carl Aldredge of Clinton, Iowa, Hugh Aldredge of Jackson, Patrick Aldredge of Biehle, Mo.; three daughters, Minta L'Ecuyer of Jaffrey, N.H., Rita Schoenebeck of Largo, Fla., Marie Aldredge of Jackson; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Fruitland. The Rev. Jimmie Corbin will officiate.

Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
