Jennie Adams

Jennie Yvette "Tuddie" Adams, 49, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at her home.

She was born May 16, 1961, in Brownsville, Tenn., to Logan Sheild and Jeanetta Adams.

Jennie was a former nurse's assistant at Ratliff Care Center. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her mother, Jeanetta Adams of Cape Girardeau; father, Logan Sheild of Brownsville; three sons, Andrew Adams of St. Louis, Eric Adams of Cape Girardeau, Stevenson Adams of St. Louis; a daughter, Keshia Renee Adams of California; a sister, Zettie Adams of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Randy Adams and Samuel Ward of Cape Girardeau, Francis Ward of El Paso, Texas, Don Ward of Washington; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnnie Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family to offset the expenses of the funeral, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
