SIKESTON -- Jennettia Fansler, 96, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1994, at Sikeston Convalescent Center. She was born May 7, 1898, in Big Opening, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edmondson. She and Orla Fansler were married Sept. 3, 1915. He died Nov. 10, 1971...

SIKESTON -- Jennettia Fansler, 96, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1994, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born May 7, 1898, in Big Opening, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edmondson. She and Orla Fansler were married Sept. 3, 1915. He died Nov. 10, 1971.

Fansler was a member of the General Baptist Church in Morehouse.

Survivors include two sons, Lyman Fansler of Killeen, Texas, Lee Fansler of Sikeston; two daughters, Verrel Powell of Bertrand, Darlene Moore of Ovieda, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. H. Worth officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
