Jeffrey Alan Thomas, 40, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 4, 1964, in Detroit, Mich., son of Marion and Laura Faye Timmons Thomas. He and Teri Chenoweth were married June 22, 1991, in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Thomas was co-owner of Thomas Insurance Services 15 years, and earned designations of LUTCF and CLU. He was a member of Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, past president of River Heritage Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers and past member of Cape Girardeau Country Club. He enjoyed golf and travel.
Survivors include his wife, Teri Thomas; parents of Cape Girardeau; three sisters-in-law, Janet and husband Dr. Foster Hampton III of Knoxville, Tenn., Jeanie and husband David Proctor and Donna and husband Robert Pritchard of Cape Girardeau; a brother-in-law, Brent and wife Barb Chenoweth of Jackson; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Moon officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
