CHAFFEE, Mo. -- The funeral for Jeffrey Frank Pobst of Chaffee will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo. The Rev. James Seyer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 6:30.
Pobst, 43, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at his home.
He was born Nov. 11, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, son of Gary F. and Anne Evans Pobst. He and Heather Marie Andreen were married Aug. 14, 1998.
Pobst was a truck driver with Richard's Trucking Co. in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife of Scott City; two sons, Dustin and Derek Pobst of Summersville, Mo.; a daughter, Tiffany Pobst of Summersville; his parents of Oran; two brothers, Kevin Pobst of Dexter, Mo., Paul Pobst of Oran; a sister, Belinda Harris of Columbia, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Marcella Pobst of Chaffee; maternal grandparents, Virginia Phillips of Morley, Mo., and John Bond of Cape Girardeau.
