Jeffrey Maguire

Jeffrey S. Maguire, 49, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, from injuries received in a tractor accident.

Jeffrey was the son of Edward and Patricia Maguire. He married Donna H. Baumann.

He was a partner in the law firm of Cook, Barkett, Maguire and Ponder in Cape Girardeau.

Jeffrey was an organ donor.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; two daughters, Courtney Maguire of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jean Maguire of St. Louis; a son, Sam Maguire of Cape Girardeau; his mother of Kirkwood, Mo.; a sister, Dinah (Bill) Nash of Kirkwood; two brothers, Timothy (Terry) Maguire of Portland, Ore., David (Lisa) Maguire of Manchester, Mo.; parents-in-law, Paul and Mary Baumann of West St. Louis County, Mo.; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Susan Claverie, and a brother, Patrick Maguire.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road in Kirkwood.

A memorial gathering will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the family home in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, or Friends of Cape Girardeau Public Library.
