Jeffrey Adams Gould, 56, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at his home.
He was born Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1952, in St. Louis, son of Richard Draime and Elizabeth Adams Gould.
Jeffrey was a member of Maple United Methodist Church and active in United Methodist Men.
As an Eagle Scout, Jeff, his father and two brothers were the first four males in one family in the St. Louis Area Council to achieve the rank of Eagle. He was also a Brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow. Jeff was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Rams and Southeast Redhawks. Jeff was a longtime friend of Bill W.
Survivors include two brothers, Dave (Deb) Gould of Texas, Tim (Frances) Gould of Cape Girardeau; nieces, Emily Gould of Mesquite, Texas, Amanda Gould of Boston; nephews, Ben Gould of Mesquite, Jonathan Gould of St. Louis, Matthew Davis of Cape Girardeau, Dr. Adam (Andrea) Davis of Franklin, Tenn.; and a great-nephew, Hudson Armstrong Davis of Franklin.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Cooper officiating.
