Martha Aurjean "Jeannie" Martin, 75, of Scott City died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 24, 1937, in Fornfelt, to Clarence Louis and Alma Rose Hoffman Jackson. She married Raymond George Martin March 20, 1970.

Jeannie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 6407, Ladies Auxiliary to Knights of Columbus Council 6420, all in Scott City.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Clark (Debbie) Sullivan of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mark (Cherie) Sullivan of Olathe, Kan.; Charlie (Becky) Sullivan of Jackson, Billy Sullivan of Naples, Fla.; three daughters, Synthia Gramm of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Cece Olson of Scott City, Mimi (David) Gomes of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Joe (Velma) Jackson of Thebes, Ill.; three sisters, Lillian Blattel of Cape Girardeau, Rosemary Kjer and Kitty Harris of Scott City; a brother-in-law, David Martin of Washington; a sister-in-law, Florence Niswanger of Scott City; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m., followed by Knights of Columbus service.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be at noon in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.

Memorials may be sent to St. Joseph Catholic School or American Cancer Society.
