JEANE DALE ANTHONY

BELL CITY -- Jeane Dale Anthony, 52, of Durby, Kan., formerly of Bell City, died Friday, June 26, 1998, at her home.

She was born May 13, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Dale E. and Iris Lee Oakley Shumaker of Bell City. They survive.

On Dec. 17, 1966, she married Fred W. Anthony at Bell City. He survives.

She was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church, a graduate of Bell City High School and a 1968 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She taught one year at Kelly Junior High School and was a teacher in the Durby public school system.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by a son, Dale Fredric Anthony of Wichita, Kan., and a daughter, Danilee Gayl Anthony of Denton, Texas.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Roger Henson will officiate. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
